Word Search Instructions

Select the search setting “Within Terms” if you only want to find terms that contain that word. Select “Within Terms and in Definitions” if you want to search for the word where it appears in both main terms and in any definitions.

Include an asterisk (*) at the end of a partial word to search for complete terms that include the partial word (e.g., entering “capillario*” will find “capillariomotor” and “capillarioscopy”).

After entering a search term, click “GO” to search the dictionary. Once your search finds a match, click on the term to see its definition.

Browse Dictionary

To browse through the dictionary, select an initial letter from the alphabet below, then select the initial two letters from the list that appears below - you will then be able to browse through all matching words - click on a word to see its definition.
